PIR Motion Sensor Module For Arduino

When this motion sensor module is used in projects it can detect motion based on changes in infrared light in the environment. It is ideal to detect if a human has moved in or out of the sensor range. An LED will light up when movement is detected. This makes the module a great addition to security application projects.

This PIR sensor is perfect for use with a Raspberry Pi and other IoT projects, as it can be powered directly from the a 5V output and read from the GPIO input, thanks to its 3.3V digital output.

The sensor features an adjustable delay (from approximately 0.5 to 200 seconds) and sensitivity, plus it includes two M2 mounting holes. It operates on a power range of 4.5V to 20V (or 3V with some simple soldering to bypass the regulator). The digital output is 3.3V for high and 0V for low. Its detection range extends up to 7 meters in a 100-degree cone.
