STC-1000 Digital Temperature Controller 12V DC

The STC-1000 temperature controller is a self contained heating / cooling controller that operates on 12VDC and controls either AC or DC loads up to 10A max current. This controller is suitable many heating and cooling appliances such as heaters, refrigerators, freezers, fermentation tanks, home brew set ups, industrial equipment and other temperature activated systems.

It contains two independent output relays which can turn on or off as temperature increases or decreases past a set threshold (decided by the user). You can also program in a delay to avoid turning on and off too quickly and thus causing premature wear to connected equipment such as compressors.

All programmed settings are configured using the push buttons and display and are saved into an internal memory (preserved if power is lost).

The temperature is sensed by the included probe module which has a range between -50°C and 99.9°C. Cable length is 1m but can be extended using standard 2 core cabling.

Relays fitted are rated up to 120/240V AC @ 10A and 15V DC @ 10A. When a relay is energised a heat/cool LED is lit on the front panel depending on the threshold crossed.
