Press and peel etchant film is ideal for making prototype PCBs and one-off project designs. To create, you make the PCB image by putting a sheet of transfer film in the paper tray of your copier or laser printer. Then print or copy the PCB design onto the film. Using a regular iron, use heat to press the design onto your cleaned copper board. The image will then transfer to the copper and that area will not be etched when the board is processed using ammonoim persulphate or ferric chloride.
